Yay!! I'm so excited I feel like running around with my arms flaying in the air like Kermit the frog while hearing the lyrics from the 80's hit "I'm so excited!" by the Pointer Sisters running through my head.
Why am I excited? I have been informed that I will be going on a Leave for Change this year. Leave for Change is a short term volunteer program partnered between Uniterra and NSCC. I don't know the details of where or when I will be going or what my placement will be.
However, I'm thrilled to have this opportunity and look forward to the experience. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me but that is ok. Small part of that work is now completed with creating this blog where I will be detailing those experiences during this adventure.
